Sow and You shall Reap

Today morning I saw crowd accumulated on road while I was coming to my office. Day is 17th April 2018. The people were gathered around a cow who was hit by a speedy vehicle a few minutes back. The collision was so severe that the cow lost her life immediately and the culprit vanished. It was a painful sight which occupied my mind completely. Was that happened because of some sin made by her in her previous birth? As an Astrologer, this question comes to my mind often that when we all know our Karma shape our lives, is it so much difficult for us to improve on ourselves? Human beings are the only organisms who can think and change their ways for the better. All other beings are just getting punished for the sins they have made in their previous lives. And all these beings suffer since the day they are born. They are made to pull heavy carts even if they're tired or sick, sometimes their leg is broken, still they need to find food and water. And once in a while, they are painfully killed for their meat. They can not speak of their sufferings to anyone. Only human beings have the privilege to improve upon their previous sins and attain Moksha after balancing their good and bad deeds... And if this life is lost wastefully, only God knows when another chance will come. All too often in our lives, we too make the same mistake. While speeding up for our career and other important matters, we ignore how many people are hurt because of us. Sometimes the hit is so severe that the person is not able to rise up again. Is our greed much more important than others lives? What will happen when we have to pay for the pain that we have created? What if we have to take birth in an animal body? What if the roles are reversed and the same thing is repeated on us? We don't think that much, because we only care for the short run. We think that our good days will never get over. We have such small span of thoughts that we even ignore the fact the one day all the energy & power will get lost, we will become old. Time is repeated every 30 years and every 30 years powers are handed over to different hands. No one always have happiness or sadness, we receive them one by one in our lives. The seeds which we sow is what we will reap in future, may be in this life or may be next. And in next life we might not have the chance to fix what we have broke. Once my Pujya Satguru Manoj Bhagwanji told me a story of saint Naarad and Lord Vishnu in which Naarad asks the Lord that why is he more important than Naarad when Naarad is the one with all the knowledge. To teach him, Lord asked him to do a simple task. He handed Naarad a spoon with a few drops of oil on it and asked him to go and see all the beauty and marvels of the world created by the Lord and keep in mind that oil drops should not be lost from the spoon. Naarad went and traveled across the whole universe and then returned to Vaikunth to meet the Lord. On his return, Lord asked him what did he see. Naarad was ashamed and answered that he did not notice anything as his main concern was to save the oil on the spoon. Lord asked him to go again and see. This time Naarad noticed everything and was amazed with the beauty of the Lord's world. On his return, he started speaking of the beautiful gardens that he saw, about those mountains and the flowing water. The chirping sounds of beautiful birds and more. 'But where are the drops of oil that I have entrusted to you', the Lord asked. Naarad looked down and saw that the oil was gone. Lord told Naarad that the only thing that is to be understood by all beings is, 'to see all the marvels of this world but never ever forget the drops of oil that has been given to you'. That is what makes people important and divine. Naarad understood the Lord's words. Some people are always worried to safeguard what has been given to them by their ancestors. And in this fear, they ignore the small pieces of happiness that comes to them everyday. Others do the opposite and go mad in the enjoyment of pleasures of this world. They ignore their families, their friends, their business, exploit everything that comes to them, just to find one day that their inheritance is all gone and now they are alone, helpless and powerless. Now there is nothing or no one to fall back on. And not just that, the sins that have been made must be re-paid with interest. The beauty of an ideal life remains in between the both ends - to balance both, to save your inheritance, and to enjoy everything out there along with your near and dear ones, and without hurting anyone. To think beyond a few years, to think of attaining Moksha and to divert all efforts towards it's attainment. Just understand a point friends, there won't be any future where you will do what you love and be happy with your family, do it right now, you never know what comes tomorrow. Make everyone around realize how important they are to you. Love and help everyone. Shape your future and your reality. Sow love and reap love. And when you are on road, know your limits and never exceed...... Thanks
