How to extract Vivaah Saham for the Timing of Marriage

The 7th house in a chart is used to gather information about marriage. It tells us a lot about time of marriage and type of marriage rituals you will have. All this can be analyzed through the 7th house, the Lord of 7th house and the houses associated with these. During dasha associated with 7th house, there are chances of marriage. During dasha, if Saturn and Jupiter are auspiciously transiting through the 7th house, there is even a strong chance for marriage. All these things are also verified in a Navamsha chart.
On the basis of above mentioned principles, everything is analysed in Lagan chart and Navamsha chart. Vivaah Saham has been talked about in astrology. It gives every detail with precision.

How to extract Vivaah Saham

For analysing Vivaah Saham, Bhogansh (Degrees at time of Birth) of Lagan Lord of Ascendant and Lord of 7th house in Lagan chart are combined. Bhogansh of both of these are combined till Rashi (hour), Kala (degree) and Vikala (minutes). And then 360 degrees is reduced to get the Vivaah Saham.
For example :
Mercury is the Lord of 1st house in & Lagan with Virgo Ascendant. The Lord of 7th house is Jupiter in Pisces. If the Lord of Ascendant’s Bhogansh is 3 : 3 : 19 that will come to 5 : 3 : 3 : 19. The Lord of 7th house’s Bhogansh is 4 :19 :16 which will make it 11 : 4 : 19 : 16. If we combine both of these, it equals 16 : 7 : 22 : 35. Now to get the Vivaah Saham, reduce the whole extract by 360 degrees i.e. by 12 rashis, we get 4 : 7 : 22 : 35. This means that Vivaah Saham is being formed in Leo sign. Vivaah Saham will also be analyzed in Navamsha chart.

Importance of Vivaah Saham in Marriage

Just like 7th house is analysed for marriage, Vivaah Saham is also analysed for marriage. We have to analyse Vivaah Saham’s Lord, planets associated with it and other important matters. There are chances of marriage during dasha or antardasha of a planet associated with Vivaah Saham.
Transits are considered to be very important in Vivaah Saham. It is believed that there is a strong possibility of marriage if Jupiter is the aspecting the house in which Vivaah Saham is being formed. There are chances of marriage during dasha of the Lord of house in which Vivaah Saham is being formed in a Navamsha chart. There are also chances of marriage during dasha of planets associated with the house in which Vivaah Saham is being formed.

Inauspicious Effects of Vivaah Saham

If the house in which Vivaah Saham is being formed is aspected by malefic planets, there may be some problems. There may be problems in married life if the Lord of this house is weak or malefic. If Vivaah Saham if afflicted in Navamsha chart, there may be problems related to marriage and married life. A person’s marriage may be delayed.
